Just about the only characters in the Winnie the Pooh books without a treehouse are Eeyore and Rabbit! Surely a treehouse is every child’s dream. We’d like to think that we can provide you with a cost effective opportunity to fulfill that dream. Even Christopher Robin had one….
We get asked all the time about bespoke, timber treehouses. The most straightforward way of putting a treehouse or playtower up into a tree is to place it on a platform that is partly supported by the tree and partly supported by stilts. We are always delighted to come and offer advice and help you design a treehouse that is going to be suitable for your requirements.
Some of our customers prefer to just have a platform around a tree with accessories fixed to it, or even a free-standing playtower in amongst their trees in the garden so that the children can be free to use their own imagination. Others are lucky enough to have a tree that is perfect for the job and for some the only bit of the treehouse in touch with the ground is the ladder
All of our treehouses, platforms and playtowers are bespoke, made to order and installed by our own team of experts so you can be confident that you will get what you want, with every aspect of your children’s safety and adventurous imagination taken into account. With our background in outdoor education we are keen to make sure that your children are encouraged to make the most of the outdoors and develop their confidence in an enjoyable way.
Your children’s safety is of paramount importance to us and European safety standards determine how we make and install our equipment.
According to the safety standards, we are obliged to recommend some form of surfacing under any play equipment where your children are over 1.5m off the ground. We are happy to advise you on this and, as you will see, can provide this for you. Where surfacing is shown in the photos it is not included in the price.
