Shelters & Benches Gallery
A Hexagonal Shelter. This design has a fibreglass, slate look-a-like roof, benches on the inside and slatted sides. It’s a rigid construction from square timber that’s designed to sit straight onto the ground. Floors can be added and they are available at 4m, 5m, and 6m in diameter.
Bespoke Buddy Bench with Planters. This School in Bristol wanted a little buddy bench with some planters so that the young children in reception could get to know each other or go and sit when they had no-one to play with. That way, anyone else looking for a playmate knows where to find one!
An Octagonal Shelter. This shelter has a timber roof, with benches in the inside and outside and solid half height sides. It is constructed from round poles that are designed to be concreted into the ground. Floors can be added and they are available at 4m, 5m, and 6m in diameter.
Raised tower with benches. Made to look like a ‘fort’ in keeping with the adventure playground theme, this is somewhere the children can go and sit but it’s raised up a bit so that they can still see what going on around them!
Hexagonal Table & Benches. These make an ideal way of providing additional seating in the playground, either for teaching purposes, having your lunch or simply having a chat. Their sizes can be modified to suit.
PLAYhut. Complete with a table and benches, this delightful little house has open sides all round so that the children can see what’s going on around them and the teachers can see in too..!
Hexagonal Tree seat & Table. If you’re lucky enough to have suitable trees, then why not make the most of them and put a table around them. Then you can have your lunch under the tree. Lovely!
Benches & Planters. What better way of smartening up an outside wall in the sunshine than putting a row of benches and planters in place.
Hexagonal Tree Seat. Exactly what it says it is…a hexagonal seat, around a tree. Of course, they can be modified to suit any tree and they don’t have to have a back on them either. The biggest tree we’ve done so far was over 6ft thick at the base!
Diamond Planter with benches. A novel shape of planter with seats low enough for pre-school and reception although, of course, they don’t have to be this low!
Rectangular Planter & Benches. A more conventional shaped planter with benches on both sides. Don’t they look great when all the flowers are in bloom?
Green Sail Shade. 5.0 x 5.0 x 5.0m and available in 5 different colours, this one is Brunswick Green with some sturdy 8 inch timber poles sunk into the tarmac to support it.
