Even the most energetic child needs to sit down and rest at some point! PLAYahead have installed numerous different types of playground shelters and benches to enable children, and their parents too, to sit and chat with their friends or simply watch the world go by.
Playground Shelters can be square or octagonal, with benches inside or out, simple or elaborate, timber or sail shades. It’s your choice! Playground Benches can be covered or not, raised or on the ground, basic, around trees, around planters…the list is seemingly endless and everyone wants something different.

All of our Commercial Outdoor Playground Equipment is manufactured and installed to BS EN 1176, the timber we use is pressure treated and sourced from FSC sustainable forests in the UK. It is all playground playgrade quality timber, specifically chosen and machined to minimise the risk of splitting and splintering.
It is highly unlikely that our playground shelters and playground benches will require safety surfacing but if they do or you would prefer to have something to protect the grass, we can both advise you on the most cost-effective and suitable options as well as either arrange for installation or do it ourselves. Whatever option you choose it will be done to BS EN 1177.
