Adventure Trails

Adventure Trails are always good fun. There are an infinite number of possibilities and the elements can be easily mixed and matched to cater for the age group your outdoor play equipment is aimed at. With our background in outdoor education we are passionate about encouraging young people to enjoy playing outdoors, improving their motor- skills, confidence and upper body strength. There are few better and cost-effective ways of doing this than with a well designed adventure trail. Younger children can be encouraged to improve their balancing skills on the balance beams whilst the older ones can boost their upper body strength on the climbing wall or the monkey bars.

As with everything we make, it is all to order and we will design a bespoke adventure trail for you that fulfils all your requirements and is great fun too. We have installed adventure trails for all manner of clients, from pub landlords to nursery owners, in schools or country parks, from local governments to parish councils.

From the images in the gallery we hope that you will see that even the most mundane piece of ground can be transformed into a fun outdoor play area. Even the smallest budget or playground area can accommodate an adventure trail.

One of the main advantages of an adventure trail is that they don’t necessarily need safety surfacing under most of the elements. This helps to keep the costs down. Of course if you would like to have a surface of some kind installed too then we’ll be more than happy to advise you accordingly.

All of our Commercial Outdoor Play Equipment is manufactured and installed to BS EN 1176, the timber we use is pressure treated and sourced from FSC sustainable forests in the UK. It is all playgrade quality timber, specifically chosen and machined to minimise the risk of splitting and splintering.

If you require safety surfacing, we can both advise you on the most cost-effective and suitable options as well as either arrange for installation or do it ourselves. Whatever option you choose it will be done to BS EN 1177.
